On Thursday, April 15, 2021 students and teachers of Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University and Sumy State University had the opportunity to communicate with the official of the European Commission, Daniel W. Bloemers through Google Meet. Daniel spent an hour talking about his education, about his travels, about his studies in the United States, Germany, and a couple of other countries; the questions ranged from the education system in Germany to the Ukrainian national cuisine. For all those present, it was interesting to listen to the stories of the guest, since it is not every day that we have the opportunity to communicate with such an interesting person. For the students, it was a great test of their knowledge and skills of English, and for the teachers, a good opportunity for the international cooperation. This meeting caused a lot of emotions, everyone was happy and impressed with the answers of young Daniel.  It was not only pleasant to listen to him during the conference, but also to watch his delightful smile.  We are very grateful to Daniel that he was able to find time for people who constantly look forward to meeting him again. It was the first online meeting with the foreign friends of our department. Everybody is welcome to these meetings!

On November 5, 2020, 2^nd year undergraduate students held the international conference "Learning without borders with Erasmus+" dedicated to International Erasmus+ Week in Ukraine with the participation of DanielW. Bloemers –Officer of the European Commission in Brussels.

On 27 February, 2020, in the Town Palace of Culture, the University's educational department held a beauty contest "Miss University - 2020" ("Natural Beauty"), which was attended by:

International cooperation with the participation of teachers and students of  Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University continues and within its framework the week from September 23rd to September 27th was devoted to mathematics in our daily life and critical thinking. These were the themes of lectures given by the teachers of Turkish University Afyon Kocatepe, who visited our town in the frames of teaching and training programmes. Teachers and students of our university attended the offered lectures and took an active part in their discussion.

In order to deepen international contacts and increase the authority of Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv national pedagogical university for entering the world educational space and for complying with the Erasmus+ Mobility Project KA107 the competitive selection of candidates for teaching and training as the part of Erasmus Agreement according to the international cooperation with Ondokuz May?s University is being continued.

On June 4^th, 2019 the seminar-training "EU Erasmus + Jean Monnet: Direction: 30 Years of Excellence in European Studies " took place at Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University. More than 50 representatives from different universities of Ukraine took part in the training: National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", M. Drahomanov National Pedagogical University, National Aviation University, Semen Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Sumy State University.
