From April 14 to April 21, 2019, the delegation of teachers of Oleksandr Dovshenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University: the first vice-rector Halyna Kuznetsova, Head of the Department of Technological and Vocational Education Vira Kurok and the Head of the Educational and Methodological Department Olena Melnyk visited the Afyon Kojatepe University in Afyon, Karachiyar, Turkey, where they attended the 7th International Information Erasmus+ Week where the representatives of academic communities from the following countries were also present: Turkey, France, Albania, Algeria, Georgia, Moldova, Slovakia, Kosovo.

The business trip was full of meaningful events and meetings. On the first day of the visit, during the plenary session, Professor ?sa Sa?ba? addressed the participants of the information week with the welcoming speech. The results and prospects of the scientific cooperation between the two countries were presented by the first vice-rector of Oleksandr Dovshenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University Halyna Kuznetsova. During her speech Halyna Kuznetsova emphasized the urgency of the processes of internationalization of education in Ukraine and the world, emphasized the importance of universities' participation in the Erasmus + programs and expressed sincere hope for expanding partnerships and engaging into the other joint programs and projects. The towel presented by the Ukrainian delegation took a worthy place in the museum of internationalization of Erasmus + Department.

The work on the following days was accompanied by exchanging  university practices, in particular regarding the provision and improvement of the quality of educational services provided within academic mobility projects, internships, and teaching. During the speech of the Ukrainian delegation, Olena Melnyk emphasized that Oleksandr Dovshenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University takes part in such projects only since 2016, therefore has some organizational difficulties, but the authorities and teaching staff of the university are deeply aware of the importance of involving as many students and teachers as possible in such projects for the purpose of their professional growth and acquisition of their professional competences.

It should be noted that Ezgi Gurel, the Deputy Director of the Department of International Work at the University of Afyon Kocatepe, noted the high level of the organizational support for mobility programs of Oleksandr Dovshenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University, the experience of cooperation with our university has been recognized as exemplary, and the selection criteria for students and staff are just, transparent, open and in line with the EU recommendations.

While visiting the faculty of education, the delegation of our university had an opportunity to get acquainted with the deputy dean of Dr. B?lent Aydo?du, to see training laboratories and audiences, computer classes, teaching rooms, student rest areas. Answering Vira Kurok's questions about organizing the educational process, the Turkish colleagues shared their experience in ensuring the quality of higher education at the faculty and promoting the creation of the inclusive environment.

All the participants of the event also had the opportunity to visit one of the oldest Lyceums in Afyon and to get acquainted with the exhibits of their historic museum. Vira Kurok noted the high level of respect of the Turkish society for its history.

The cultural program of the 7th International Week Erasmus + provided excursions to Kusadasi, Pamukale, Izmir, which impressed by their traditions, history, national hospitality and sincere communication.

The final stage of the visit included discussion of potential opportunities for participation in joint Erasmus + Capacity Building programs, holding international scientific conferences, forums, and engaging partners in the editorial boards of university academic journals.
