Finding the common and respecting differences

The students and teachers of Oleksandr Dovzhenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University continue their communication with the foreign colleagues and peers. On the first day of summer we had a very interesting talk with the teacher and students of the English School fron Afyon Kocatepe University (Turkey).

The participants of the online meeting exchanged their experience in teaching and mastering English in the current conditions of the pandemics. The young people discussed different issues of their student life and found a lot in common but it was interesting to get to know about the national peculiarities of the both countries. The Turkish students were interested in the Ukrainian tourists’ attractions, cuisine, literature, and cinema. It was a useful language practice for the students. We expect to meet the Turkish colleagues in the future again.
